Monday Card Challenge - "For a Friend" by Erica Perkins

I, along with several of my fellow Inspired Scrappers, just got back from the BC Crop 4 Kids where we spent 48 hours raising money for BC Children's Hospital. I knew I had this challenge to complete today, but would you believe that I left it until the last minute?  In fact, most of the time I leave my card making to the last minute. I'm not as organized as Cari and Debby with their beautiful cards made and ready to go to a friend in need or special occasion. So this morning, when I was thinking about a card to send to a friend while catching up on Facebook, I came across the new sketch over at Imaginisce. And in about 12 minutes (which included setting up my sewing machine with black thread) made this card.

Supplies used: Bazzil cardstock, Imaginisce patterned paper and chipboard stickers, October Afternoon mini alphas and my sewing machine.

I love soft and pretty cards with lovely sentiments, but sometimes I need to rock it out too. This card will be perfect for those occasions.

I can't wait to see the cards you all come up with this week. Remember to link us up in the comments so we can check it out, leave ya a little love and get you hooked up in our random RAKs.

  1. I am so a last minute card maker too, and lots of time it is left too late and I end up buying one instead :)

Love the design, colors and sentiment on your card.
